Just like "I Can't Believe it's Not Butter", except brown and found in petstores nationwide.Heheh they're actually called "P-Nutz", and are peanut flavored doggie treats...Ozzy wuvs them but they're a bit hard to find and expensive (and also look suspicious when he leaves them lying on the floor....

Yeah, I think people are grossed out by it, and I am a cheapskate, so I wouldn't by expensive pet food and pet treats either. I took my cockatiel to get her wings and claws clipped a few days ago, and I wanted to get her some bird treats while I was at the pet store, had some trouble finding the right thing, in the end I bought her this long fennel seed (at least I think that's what it is) she loves those and they're cheap. I thought about getting her something called nutri-berries, the kind made for small birds like parakeets and cockatiels, its a ball of special seeds and fruit made as a bird treat. I wonder if the nutri-berries would be healthier for her. I've tried feeding her fresh fruit like apples and bananas, but she doesn't seem to like it. All she does is make a mess.

My gerbil seems to like fresh food a lot (apples, cheese)...I had a hamster once that seemed to be afraid of lettuce though, I put a piece in his cage and he hid in the corner until I took it away...

Wow, afraid of lettuce? That's weird! The parakeets I had liked fresh fruit. They made a big mess eating it, they would tear it up into little pieces with their beak and scatter the pieces on the floor while only eating some of it. Birds are such messy eaters. My cat loved tuna and chicken. I think she would even eat cheese, but she had a delicate digestive system, and if she had too much of that food she would throw up or get diarrhea. So we tried to keep her on cat food and give her kitty treats as a reward and snack.
