This drawing is based on the second chapter of my Unikitty fanfic, Princess and the Doom Lord. Here, Master Death has had it with being Master Doom's mentor, so he decided that Shy should be his new apprentice. Master Death disapproved of Shy being friends with the new princess of the Unikingdom, Kittycorn, so he tells Shy that she doesn't need any friends. This caused Shy to look down in sadness as she started to tear up.
