About: Having grown up in the rough and tumble world of a deep-sea settlement, Verdant Viper was often forced to scrounge for a meal or even for a comfortable and safe place to sleep. He always felt there was a better way, but struggled to get this idea across to the rest of the Sea Ponies down in the trenches. As he grew older, he longed to find a life with more community and peaceful resolutions. He struck his way out to the city of Concordia hitching rides on boats and then caravans. Along the way he met many fine creatures and found that he loved the mainland and the life it offered, even if it wasn't exactly built for him to live there.

Eventually he wiggled his way into the Concordian Council, by virtue of his boundless positivity and also being one of few Sea Ponies to dwell on land. He certainly hasn't forgotten about his old home, and still travels there from time to time to try to spread the messages of peace and friendship to them. Most still don't seem to get it, but he's not goign to stop anytime soon!

Some may find his positivity annoying, as he often refuses to let anyone "bring down the vibe". He hasn't lost any of the toughness he had as a kid, but it takes a lot of prying in the wrong ways to get him to show that side of himself.
