“Do you think the talk is going well?” Honey asks after a while

“I hope it is, I don’t want (Name) to be mad at us?” Kaoru says

“Hai, I quite like her, she is very mild mannered” Kyoya says

The sound of footsteps make them look up. They are quite surprised by what they see. (Name) and Haruhi are holding hands! Fortunately Tamaki still has his head on the table or he would be freaking out.

“Haru-chan, (Name)-chan, what are you doing?” Honey asks shakily, gripping Usa-chan tightly

“We’re holding hands of course” Haruhi says, lifting their hands up

This makes Tamaki sit bolt upright. His eyes widen at the sight of the two girls smiling and holding hands.

“H-Haruhi, what are you d-doing?” he stutters

“Holding hands with my new g-girlfriend” Haruhi says

If one listens you can tell she is trying not to laugh. This goes right over Tamaki’s head and now he looks horrified.

“You can’t p-possibly-”

The sound of laughter and a light thug make him stop. They look and see Gilbert on the floor laughing his ass off with a weird snake like laugh. This makes them confused so they wait for him to stop and explain himself. Eventually he calms down and shakily stands, chucking. He walks over to Haruhi and (Name) and stands between them putting his arms on their shoulders.

“Nice one (Name), I didn’t know you had it in you?” he says

“I learned from the best and half of your praise should go to Haruhi’s great acting” (Name) says

Haruhi blushes and rubes the back of her neck.

“Well it wasn’t really that hard, I have been pretending to be a boy for almost a year now” she says

“What’s going on?” Tamaki asks

“It was a joke, Haruhi and I set up” (Name) says

“… A joke…” Tamaki say in disbelief

(Name) grins.

“Gil taught me that a good prank helps lighten the mood” she says, letting go of Haruhi’s hand and patting him on the back

“That was a kind of cruel joke” Hikaru says

“Not to me” Gilbert says, grinning

“Anyway, I am not mad, I’m happy you told me and to be honest I kind of suspected, especially when I caught a glance at Haruhi leaving the girls bathroom”

“You what!?” Haruhi shouts, cheeks burning

“We are friends and in the same class so it’s pretty easy to pick you out in a crowd”

“Oh…”

“On anozer note, vhy did jou look so scared vhen jou saw zem togezer” Gilbert asks, stepping closer to the table with a slight glare

“We don’t want Haruhi to have a girlfriend” Tamaki says, without thinking

Silence.

“I have a boyfriend back home, a cute sveet Canadian boy”

Gilbert takes out his wallet and shows them a pictures of him with a blond boy with blue purple eyes. Gilbert is grinning like an idiot and the boy is smiling shyly with pink dusting his cheeks.

“He is cute” Kaoru says, making the others stare at him with wide eyes

“What, I am just being honest” he says, trying to defend himself

The snake like laughter makes them turn to Gilbert.

“Jou guys are funny, I’m definitely going to enjoy my time here” his grin turns sinister “Especially if I get to poke fun at jou”

The host club look at each other nervously. What have they gotten themselves into?
