Antonio struggled against the chains binding his wrists but it was no use the man held him tightly and the cloth around his mouth prevented him from screaming. The man attached the hook to the chains then stepped away. He went to the control panel and pushed a button. The chain slowly began pulling Antonio up off the ground. He grabs the controls and moved it. So that Antonio was hanging directly over a vat of boiling melted chocolate. He struggled despite how useless it was. The man moved the controls again and Antonio began slowly moving toward the chocolate.

“To bad I can’t make it go faster” the man said with an evil grin

Antonio continued to move toward the chocolate. He writhed around, rattling the chains. When he is close he closes his eyes ready for the pain as the chocolate burns his skins. But it doesn’t happen. He suddenly it stops moving. He hears a Whack and a Thump then he begins moving up again. When he is above the rim he glances over to see Lovino at the controls and the many lying unconscious next to him. Antonio waits patiently as Lovino moved him until he is standing on the ground. Lovino walks over to him and takes the hook of. He unties the gag then undoes the chains around Antonio’s writs. As soon as Antonio is free he spins around and hugs Lovino tightly.

“Oh Lovi you have no idea how happy I am to see you” Antonio cries happily

“Yeah whatever” Lovino mumbles looking to the side

Lovino pulls away and grabs Antonio then begins pulling him away from the factory.

‘He grabbed my wrist not my hand’ Antonio thinks confused. The two walk in silence for a bit until Antonio decides to break it.

“Lovi, what’s wrong, did I do something bad” he asks

Lovino stops letting him go and spins around looking absolutely furious.

“Of course you did, do you have any idea how fucking worried I was about you” Lovino yells

Antonio flinches at the volumes of his voice.

“Lo siento. I just wanted the best for you” Antonio apologizes

“I know, you always do this, you get yourself into trouble and I have to come and save you, this isn’t right I talked to Kiku and he said you’re the seme or whatever in this relationship it’s supposed to be the other way around” Lovino continues to yell while Antonio has his head bowed in shame

“Lo siento” Antonio whispers again

Lovino growls.

“You know what I’ve had it, I think it’s time we end it”

Antonio’s head snaps up.

“You can’t be serious I love you and will do anything for you” Antonio says his eyes pleading for this to be a lie

“I know and that’s why I’m leaving” Lovino says calmly

He turns around and walks to a cab that is waiting nearby. He opens the door and gets in. Antonio puts on his best smile and waves. Lovino looks in the rear view mirror to see him waving but doesn’t turn around. Instead he closes his eyes and sighs then tells the driver to go. When the cab is out of sight Antonio’s smile disappears and he begins the long walk home.

Later Antonio is crying in his knees in a beautifully furnished living room. Francis sits in a chair near him. He dismisses a maid after she puts a Kleenex box on the table between them.

“Toni, please stop, you know we hate seeing you cry” Francis pleads

“But why, I love him so much” Antonio sobbed “I know I will get something for him”

“Toni stop, this is probably why he broke up with you” Francis says

Antonio looks at him confused.

“What do you mean” Antonio asks

Francis sighs in exasperation.

“You always do things without thinking, you get yourself into trouble and others have to come to save you”

“But I want nothing but the best for him”

“Toni, you know how Lovi hates attention, he likes your affection but if you go overboard it overwhelms him”

Francis looks up at his friend.

“He probably broke up with you so you won’t be so reckless, you have made him feel very stressed, try and give him some space, once he calms down go and talk to him ,ok?”

Antonio nods.

“Ok I will try”

The next day at school Lovino is at his locker getting his books for the day. He sighs.

‘Normally Toni would greet me with a big hug and a kiss on the cheek’ he thinks as he closes his locker “Maybe I was too hard on him” Lovino shakes his head “No, it’s for his own good”

Lovino turns around when he feels a tap on his shoulder. Behind him is a large group of girls.

“Lovi, we heard you broke up with Toni, is it true” one asks

“Don’t call me that and yes it is” he replies

They move closer to him and he presses his back against his locker.

“If you’re not with Toni then that means you’re single and if your single can you go on a date with me” another girl asks

“Uh well” Lovino says getting flustered

“Oh I wanna go on a date with you too”

“And me”

Suddenly all the girls are asking to go on a date with him. Antonio watches from a distance wishing he could go on a date with him.

“STOP!” Lovino shouts

The girls all stop at once.

“I will only go on a date with one of you” he says trying to compromise

They whine all wanting to go out with him.

“So which one of us will it be?”

Lovino looks at the girl and points at a random girl with short brown hair and brown eyes.

“I chose her” he says

“YAY” the girl cheers as the others pout

The girls leave and the one he chose comes and takes his hand they walk away together.

Later the two are sitting in an ice-cream shop having gelato.

“So Lovi why did you break up with Toni” the girl asks

“Don’t call me that and its none of your business” he replies starring at his gelato and slowly eating it

The girl stares at him then smiles.

“You still love him don’t you” she asks

“Damn that bastard he is so stupid” Lovino yells hitting the table

He looks up to see the girl looking at him confused. He looks down at his gelato embarrassed. The girl looks at him then something behind him catches her attention and she smirks.

“Lovi”

Lovino looks up as he pulls the spoon pit of his mouth. Immediately she pulls him into a kiss. Lovino closes his eyes and tries to pull away but she has a tight grip on him. After a minute she pulls away both gasping for breath.

“WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!!!” Lovino yell wiping his mouth

The girl just shrugs

Lovino is at his locker putting his books away and getting ready for his next class when he feels a tap on his shoulder. He turns to see the girl he went out with yesterday and scowls. He still isn’t happy about what she did.

“So Lovi, now that we’re together want to go out on another date” she asks

“Don’t call me that and we’re not together”

“We’re not? But we went on a date” she said confused

“Yes, it was just a date noting more” Lovino say giving her a soft smile

“But I thought you couldn’t say no to girls”

“That’s not it I’m nice to girl but that doesn’t mean I can’t say no to them”

The girl stares at him then nods.

“I understand well I had better get to class” she says then walks away

Lovino sighs, relieved that she understood. A shadow appears over him and he looks up to see Antonio standing in front of him looking sad.

“Lovi, I came to wish you luck in your new relationship” Antonio whispers

Lovino scowls. He turns around opens his locker and tosses his books inside. After closing his locker he grabs Antonio’s hand and drags him away. Antonio is confused but allows himself to be taken away. Lovino’s eyes look down the hall until he finds an empty classroom. He pulls him into the room and pushes him down on one of the benches.

“Lovi?”

“ANTONIO YOU BASTARD, YOU’RE SUCH AN IDIOT!” Lovino yelled

Antonio flinched.

“I’m not in a relationship with that girl we just went on one date”

“But you kissed and-”

“You saw that” Lovino shook his head “Never mind, that date was one sided the girls cornered me and I had no choice or they wouldn’t leave me alone”

“So you don’t love her” Antonio asked

Lovino grabbed Antonio’s face.

“No you idiot I love you”

“But you yelled at me and broke up with me” Antonio said tears coming to his eyes

Lovino sighed in exasperation letting go of him.

“I did that for your sake you were doing a lot of stupid thing to make me happy when you were really doing the opposite”

“But I want nothing but the best for you” Antonio said tears streaming down his face

“You’re making me angry by crying like this, I break up with you and what happens you become a sobbing mess”

“But I can’t live without you” Antonio said the tears coming out harder. He tried to wipe them away but it was no use they just kept coming.

Lovino watched Antonio cry, his expression getting angrier and angrier. Finally he couldn’t take it anymore. He grabbed Antonio’s wrists and pulled them away from his face then gave him a deep, rough kiss. Antonio’s eyes widened but he soon kissed back.

“I can’t live without you either but I needed some time to relax, I never meant to hurt you”

Lovino sat on Antonio’s lap and wrapped his arms around his neck.

“I hope you can forgive me”

Antonio nuzzled Lovino’s neck.

“Of course I forgive you”

Lovino gasped when Antonio nipped his neck.

“B-bastard what do you think you’re doing?”

“Lo siento, I have been waiting too long I just can’t wait anymore”

Lovino sighed in defeat. Antonio picked him up and went down to the floor. Just as they started Francis opened the door and peered inside then closed it.

“Seems those two have finally made up”

About half an hour into class Antonio and Lovino walked into the room. Their clothes and hair a little messy.

“Vargas, Carriedo why are you two so late”

“Estoy lo siento señora, we were caught up in something important, I hope you can forgive us” Antonio said giving her a smile

“I will, just don’t let it happen again” the teacher said

“They must have had fun” Gilbert comments

“Indeed they did” Francis replies
