After they all revealed what they do in the secrecy of their bedrooms, the boys decided to make it an activity they can do together. Donnie built a chamber in the lair that Splinter has no access to (due to him stealing the turtle tank), and made it into the "Turtle Relaxation and Unwinding Experience" or "T.R.U.E". It's sound proof on the inside, but Donnie rigged a security system that allows them to heard for crimes or even someone intruding the lair.
