Description
I drew the new Freedom Fighters from the newest Archie SOnic the hedgehog issue. I changed little about the designs, only the proportions to fit in with other Cobalt Character models. Now, i really like how they and Dulcy are all based after teh four legendary beast from Chinese mythology: the Black Tortoise of the North, the Azure Dragon of the East, the Virmillion Bird of the South and the White Tiger of the west.

But let's be honest, aside from Dulcy, Jian is everyone's new favorite. Mine too. I love tigers, especially white tigers. Also Jian looks badass. And she is an Ex-Legionnaire. It's only revealed through caption boxes and exposition, but she is the character we know the most about of the new characters in Chun Nan and as a result, she easily draws the most attention to herself.

Her teammates may not compare either, but their designs are cute, and we can hope they get more tidbits revealed later on; For now I drew them for completion's sake. Bunker the tortoise (I accidentally inversed the colors of her kimono), a shrine keeper and that's all I know about her. But at least her designs proves that Tommy Turtle's had no excuse to be generic.

And then we got Cinder the Pheasant. She is young and excitable and believes she'll one day become a phoenix. Yeah, going to eat my shoes if that happens. Hold me on that.
