This one might be up there with Bubblefury's line in terms of being my favorite. <3

(Also, for anyone who might get mixed up, that's Chillorbi's mouth, not its eye.)

SUMMARY:

Chillorbi (CHILL + ORB)

This little guy isn't known for being very mobile. Chillorbi is a curious yet quiet pokemon, enjoying its own space while not being disturbed. In the wild, it tends to stay snuggled up with other Chillorbi within a makeshift nest hidden from predators. This nest is usually found either inside the bases of tree trunks or nestled within the branches of thorn bushes.

There is not much Chillorbi can do until it evolves. But until then, it feeds off the cold aura of its parents to gain strength. This has led to many pokemon breeders having to warn trainers from taking Chillorbi away from its parents too soon. Otherwise, it could starve from lack of a cold aura to feed off of.

Chillumbra (CHILL + UMBRA)

Once evolved into Chillumbra, this pokemon is more than ready to go off on its own. Of course, that would be the case if it wasn't so apathetic to not want to move. In order to even get Chillumbra to finally leave the nest, its parents tend to have to chase it out and far enough away that it won't try to come back. Once officially out of the nest though, it slowly gains enough determination to venture off independently.

Chillumbra are pretty powerful and make for excellent pokmeon to have in battle, but not always. This pokemon, when in the wild, has no trouble fighting opponents every time. But once captured by a human, it can become incredibly apathetic. To combat this, owners of a Chillumbra must create an emotional connection with it in order to make it more willing to fight for them in battle. Because the weaker the connection, the more apathetic the pokemon is, and therefore the worse it will do in battle.

Chillustrus (CHILL + ILLUSTRIOUS)

Chillustrus are highly protective of those it deems its loved ones. In the wild, this protectiveness is centered mainly around its young and mate. In captivity, depending on how strong their emotional bond is, it centers around its owner and/or any other pokemon it is living with.

When trained properly, Chillustrus can become extremely effective in battle, using a large variety dark/ice combo moves. If one fails to train it properly however, this pokemon will act more erratic in battle. Potentially causing unnecessary severe injury to its opponent. That is why it is important to make sure Chillustrus especially learns self-control and doesn't come to see its opponent as an actual threat to its trainer (at least when battling in a gym or with friends).

As an added note, Chillustrus tend to raise their young in pairs. This is mainly due to how they must feed Chillorbi with their own cold auras. So by having two parents around, they can both take turns in the feeding, allowing one of them to replenish their aura in the meantime. This way, neither mate gets completely drained by the time their young finally evolve.
