What does semi-open mean for this species?
You are free to make as many Waterbranchs as you want this sheet has no trait rarities and you are free to add on traits like hooves, horns, antenna etc,, ( Unless you are on My Public Blacklist or you make/support offbrand you aren't allowed to make or own any at all)

You cannot make a Waterbranchs for the sole purpose of selling them, like an adopt.

Only mutuals/friends/myself can make Cordepods for the purpose of selling them, please do not ask me to follow/watch you just so you can sell them. However you can pay someone to make a custom for you.

What if I fell out of love with my Waterbranchs and want/need to sell them?

Your totally allowed to do that, but you can't advertise it as an adopt. If you bought a Waterbranch from a designer please only resell for what you bought them for + any comms work.

Is there a DA or Discord?
Nope! This is just a lax species with no ML, if there's enough interest I might make a discord, but it will just be a talk/art space and won't host events.

Do I need to have my Waterbranchs approved?

Nope! No approval is needed or will be given.

Can I ask questions in regards to anatomy and lore?
Yep! There will also be a small lore/anatomy section at the bottom you can read up on.

Can I make a Waterbranchs based on an existing character I own?

Yes! However if they belong to a CS or another kind of species please abide by any rules they have!

Can I make F2U/P2U bases?
You are free to make both F2U and P2U bases and make YCHS as well for them!

Do not use Waterbranchs to make offbrand of other species by removing or adding on specific traits associated with an already existing Species, ie Cham nose, Scarfox arms+face, Tea Beetle nose + spiracles etc...

LORE/ANATOMY

Waterbranchs are an aquatic based species and while most of their body is typically soft and slimey they can have traits such as scales, or fur and hair.
Their diet mainly consists of plankon, bacteria, micro-organsims, and the occassional parasites. Waterbranchs due to usually having soft bodies need to rigoriously check their body and rid
themselves of parasites and also enjoy cleaning parasites off other species. The only time the Waterbranches consider diverging from their mostly filter feeder diet is to consume beings made of water themselves.
Most Waterbranchs are vividly colored (though some aren't) to warn predators that they are highly poisonous if eaten. If this doesn't work though, they do have sharp teeth
and claws to help defend themselves.
Waterbranches enjoy living in coral reefs filtering out the water with many other species such as Charmarus and Plymphs enjoy having them in their local drinking water as they can clean out any harmful toxins and containments in the water.
Waterbranches external gills can also appear practically anywhere on the body, but most commonly they will atleast have them on their tails as that's where they store water till its expelled back out cleaned.
Waterbranches heat pips help them sense water pressure and detect extreme heat, since some Waterbranches may feed on the chemically containmented waters around hot sea vents.
Their vents also help them expel unwanted material but usually this is just small bits of sea debris, such as sand and rocks.
