Feat Magnus and Casius

As the stallion introduced himself, the recognition clicked in his brain. One of the Royal Family, it made sense. His dark coat was a clear trait and Casius felt silly for not recognising it sooner, especially with the unsure air that surrounded him. "Ah yes, of course. It would explain why your face is familiar but why I have not met you personally. On the average day we're at our own ends in our own quarters." He said with a laugh. The smile on his face returned to neutral when Magnus spoke his truth of not having been here on his own will before. "Well, I'm glad to welcome you on this day. All that matters, especially to Argus, is that you chose today to come a be closer to our God." His smile returned when Casius' trusting, open eyes allowed Magnus to feel comfortable, comfortable enough to admit his lack of faith being the reason for his visit. The Priest was glad that he had done his job, all he wanted was for his space to be open for anyone and everyone to speak to Argus' ear when they needed it.
He nodded his head in the direction of one of the comfortable prayer rooms, complete with enough cushions for an equine to be in prayer for as long as they needed.
"The wonderful thing about prayer is that it is completely up to each individual equine on how they do it. Personally, I like to start with nothing but a slight chiming of bells, the smell of incense and taking several deep breaths until I am truly connected with myself." Kneeling down to the ground, Casius reached with his teke to gentle chime the small hanging bells that lay in front of them and adjust the incense that was forever smoking (with help from the Magis). Then first giving Magnus an encouraging look, he bowed his head, closing his eyes and let himself find his breath. Finding his way to complete serenity so as to truly have his thoughts open for his God.

Being viewed as royalty meant that others viewed you as royalty, so Magnus knew full and well that he should be exuding a bit more confidence than he had. However, it's hard to be confident in a place like this. He briefly wondered how his High King felt in a place like this. Confident, knowing he was closer to Argus in all sorts of ways? Or did he also feel as small and unsteady as Magnus? No, Magnus couldn't quite imagine his King to feel small. Perhaps it really was just Magnus's own feelings, then. Even though it was hard to be confident, it was hard to feel anything but comfortable in the presence of the patient look that Casius was giving him. Magnus shuffled his hooves, flicking his ears into a more relaxed position as he regarded him, listening to the kind words the Priest had to say. It felt reassuring to hear that it didn't matter so much about his past; what mattered was what he chose to do now in the presence, and the stallion appeared visibly much more relaxed upon hearing that. At Casius' nod, Magnus followed, willing to do just about anything Casius suggested in this situation. Magnus's dark features relaxed as he pondered what he was told. Prayer being completely up to himself, hm? Well, as he stepped hoof into the prayer room, the warm, earthy smell of incense hit him first. It was a smell that reminded him of curling up into a warm blanket on a cool fall day. It had the same effect too, making him feel that much more relaxed and comfortable, and perhaps a bit closer to Argus, too.
