For my upcoming AU Concept:
"Pokémon DA: Gale of Mystery: Rescue Team"
(Which I'm making a hashtag for)

DA in the title is purely a reference to DeviantArt (ofc)

Story:
An all new team of Pokemon journey through their islands while battling against Shadow Pokemon in hopes to save their homes after a water type Pokémon finds a human baby in front of their door step. (This will be updated)

About Ame (They/Them):
As the only Mudkip within its hometown, Ame is a loyal and compassionate Pokémon, awarded for their hard work by the mayor of their home, a small but important place called "Metre Town".

Despite being a water-type Pokémon, Ame is NEVER seen near any kind of ocean, lake, or even puddle, not even a finger!

Immediately after hatching, Ame's home was destroyed by a ship attack that engulfed the little Mudkip into the ocean and tore them away from their family. Even after making their way home, their parents were nowhere to be found. Hence, their fear of the ocean grew that day as they hid in the broken house waiting for their family to come home. That is until a Charizard found them and brought them to Metre Town, where a Blissey, "Miss Bliss", would later adopt and care for as her own child.

About Brooks (He/Him):
An Azurill who works as a “sheriff JR.”, planning to work as head sheriff of Metre town as soon as the main sheriff, "Sheriff Fideline" the Honchkrow, retires from his post.
Brooks is also a roommate, living with Ame in their own home in Metre Town, and are considered a duo, through the thick and then.
