Been getting into "Magician's Quest: Mysterious Times" still, so I made my own Student OC,A Fly Trap who acts like a punk in class, but loves committing to taking care of millions of plants, even his little "Clamshells" he loves so freakin' much.
He might act like a jerk, but once you start to slowly get to know him better, he'll befriend you to the point he stands up for you whenever you're ever challenged by others. He'd even offer you to join his school group, the "planters". Even if you say no, he'll occasionally remind you of his standing invitation to join.
