I do consider myself lucky..
You can increase you chances though when approaching any butterfly, dragonfly etc by stalking them obviously 'qiuetly' (not disturbing the plant they are on, causing vibrations etc..) and not to allowing your shadow to go over them...
Sometimes it works...
