This is Arjun, another Kite elf. Whee. I think I'm becoming obsessed with them. It's ok though. Arjun is a bit of a brat; he was making fun of Leium on my notes for public speaking class.I'm a bit eh over the glowy, but overall I like the pic. His necklace is cool, and I can just imagine him saying 'Huh? It's never done this before...'
Edit: I wanted to show the mark on his forehead, but his hair was in the way. Sigh. Probably going to do another view of this, and show it that way.

The glowey-ness is spiff, and i love the eye, holds alot of emotion. I do agree with NoName tho', a bit more shading would make this pick really kick arse. ^^

I am glad I read the description because at first glance I thought that was a finger instead of a necklace and I was wondering why it wasnt colored.
I think the Glowey'ness looks fine. But I tend to overuse gloweyness myself, because I love Glowey'ness! YAY Glowey'ness!
I really like the expression on his face. Expressions are something I have been working on for a while. I got tired of all my characters having the same expression. You can really show a lot about a character's personality, or how they are feeling at the moment with just the look on their face.
Only constructive criticizim I can offer on this picture is I think the sahdowy areas should be a little more darker. With a light source that bight the shadows are going to be really dark in contrast. You did good with the shadow of the ear, but maybe add some more to the back side of the neck and on the back of the head
