Rajnandi, aka Raj. She's Arjun's sister, and this is her when Arjun is gone. It's assumed that she'll take Arjun's place, but her necklace turned to a blur when Arjun left the island... thus, she probably won't be doing anything until Arjun comes back. If, until, all of those fun things.She's very hyper, though somewhat shy around people she isn't familiar with. Quiet, because Arjun was always the loud one, though she usually ended up taking leadership of things because she's a couple years older. I keep moving her markings around, save for the one on her forehead (uh, can't see it) and the one on her cheek. Not sure what I'm happy with, though I like the one on her left hand and on her tummy.
I spent... four days, I think, on this, but probably only something like 24 hours if you took time from each day. I wanted to play with foreshortening with her staff but it kept not working (though I learned many fun lessons about how *not* to foreshorten something) so I just drew it that way.
Pretty much happy with her. Very happy with the cheap frame
Feel free to point out what I did wrong--it's how I learn.

I think its not that her shoulders are too wide, but that her head is leaning down like she's nervous. I mean, that's not wrong in itself, but the gesture her head is making doesn't match the upheld shoulders. (usually people bring in their shoulders when they're nervous)
The coloring is great, and I LOVE the textures. The cloth does seem a little odd around the boobs, like Brad said.
Even though it's a "cheap frame", it completes the picture, and that makes it look a whole lot better than it would without the frame.
All in all, I really like this picture. You just keep improving; it makes me jealous!

First thing that game to mind was that I really like the texture on the dress, And would love to know how you did it!
Foreshortening is the devil. Just ignore it and it wille ventually go away ^_^
I think the markings I can see are placed well. I also like their dark red color. It goes good with her blue violet skin color.
The background is also very neat.
The only things I can offer constructive ccriticism on is that her shoulders look a *bit* to wide , and also the cloth over her boobs looks a bit weird. But, these are both things I mess up on when drawing females all the time, and its really just being nit picky.. but you asked for it!
