I love how surreal this is. It's got to be be close to being one of my favorite digital manipulations so far on this site.xD It's quirky, yet...not unbelievable. The concept is rather nifty--not to mention it has hippos (love) AND a desert (LOVELOVELOVE). I also like that it's not so -digital- looking (I'm a big traditional art fan, myself).
Very cool. I usually don't write this much but this had some sort of impact for me.xD

I thought this is an illustration which looks like a photo, but it's a photo(manip) that looks like an illustration. Either way, it's good and the effect is successfully achieved.
