I drew this to celebrate the release of volume 6 of the RWBY series by Monty Oum/Roosterteeth. It took me awhile to finish this and I'm 3 episodes too late lol. I had a bit of a difficult time drawing this, as I couldn't figure out the pose I wanted. Once I got the overall sketch and lineart, I suddenly wanted this drawing to have a night time with the moon in the background feel to it. Drawing the shattered moon is difficult though so I just drew a full moon instead. When I thought it was done I realized I didn't even put rose petals around her haha.
