Used to be considered a great hero but eventually went crazy, does it really take it real well when his love interest walks away from him, acts like a bratty psycho and even threatens to kill warmer love interest, basically talks about taking over things violently, wields a red blade

Does this sound very familiar?

They all start out pretty good they both start introducing new characters left and right then something goes wrong and then it gets a dark ending

And then next season we see our characters are basically scattered
