I am a sucker for romances. I'm a mild hopeless romantic. LOL. But I LOVE tragic romances, too. 

This picture holds such a romantic and ethereal atmosphere. I know it's a wedding picture but in my mind, this is story I see...

These two are lovers who married on a whim because the male is leaving to fight in a great war. A war that if lost, will end the world. It was only just yesterday when the couple decided to marry. It was their way of promising each other they would surely see each other again. On their last night together, they decide to spend their last hours at the place they first met. There aren't any more words to speak at this time. Instead, they hold each other tightly and reminisce about their many yet short days over the last few years. Silence envelopes the air but it helps make the time last longer than it should until dawn.

Into the next day, the female, understanding yet clearly discontent, sees off her newfound husband with imminent tears in her eyes. Deep in her heart, she's certain she will see him again. Even if it will be in the next life...
