Description
When I started reading the AWESOME, novel-length, Neville-centric Deathly Hallows fanfic Dumbledore's Army and the Year of Darkness by Thanfiction, I had to share it with my mom. I made an eBook version for her to read while she travels and I also made a fake cover for the fic using movie and stock images for the D.A. members.

If you haven't read DAYD, I HIGHLY recommend it. It's set during DH, but is told from Neville's POV as he and various D.A. members try to get through a year with Snape and the Death Eaters in charge. It's one of the few HP fics I would put almost on par with the actual novels. It's got a perfect mixture of action, comedy, drama, magic, and romance, and EVERYONE is IN CHARACTER. It also provides us with more background to some of the less-featured characters, and answers some questions that were left unanswered by DH. It's also really pro-Hufflepuff.

The D.A. members I chose to show are Lavender, Ginny, Parvati, Padma, Hannah (stock image), NEVILLE, Ernie, Susan (stock image), Seamus, Luna, Dennis (actor Thomas Sangster), and Colin. I would put more in, but it started looking crowded. I'm pretty happy with how everyone turned out except Susan; she's not how I picture her, but I couldn't find a good enough picture of someone who looks like the Susan in my head. And I wanted to use Hannah from the movies, but I couldn't find a good photo of the actress, hence the stock image.
