This is a Kalak or most commonly known as the "Maned Wolf"(not actually a wolf it is the only species in it's genus) These South American Plain dwellers are sometimes called a "Fox on stilts" due to its striking resemblance to red foxes despite not being related by anything but the Canidae Family Maned wolves are the tallest (but not the heaviest and strongest that goes to the North American Grey Wolf) Canine in the entire world. Maned wolves have extremely long and deer like legs thought to help them see over the tall grass of their natural habitat and have uncharacteristically large paws and ears compared to their otherwise leather frames. They use their large paws to stomp on the ground where they hear rodent dens such as rabbits to scare them out and catch them. Digging if need be
