"I'm surprised it's all still here!" I said, looking about Pinedale Town.

"It's more of a ghost town, really..." Plans replied.

I noticed he was right, there wasn't a soul but us around. Some pidgey or caterpies in the distance, sure. It was interesting that after everything that has happened, the town was left untouched. The fountain and the well still populated the town. A few homes, although vacant, lie in the distance. Yuki, my ralts, played about in the grass. He was still too young to know of Plans and I's past. Maybe one day we will tell him. He seemed so happy, bouncing around in the grass. It was nearly taller than him! I smiled softly, it felt so good to have a partner pokemon. Plans has been with me all my life...well... sort of. But, although Yuki is new to me, I'm happy he's here. I'm so grateful we ran into each other!

Yuki turned to face me and reached his arm out. Looks like he wants me to join him. I flopped onto the ground, my back to the sky. I was on eye level with Yuki when I did this. He smiled and I reached my finger out to him. We touched hands and I couldn't help but giggle. Then, I heard him laugh too! I was so startled I jumped.

"Woah! Yuki?" I exclaimed, "Since when could I hear you?"

Yuki giggled again and turned around. He ran into the grass and I quickly hopped to my feet. Where in the world was he going? Maybe he wants to explore... or maybe he's just messing with me. I couldn't help but chuckle at his actions.

"Let's get going, I'm really thirsty.." Plans said.

I nodded in response, and we made our way to the well.
