Nuòyán
(simplified Chinese translation for "promise")

Litchini's bow was made for her by a disappointed father and a worrying mother, a piece of cloth wrapped around its handle as the sole rememberance. Given to her, so she may continue their duty, but also to allow her choose her own path. She once rejected it, but once she had nothing, she embraced it and vowed to continue their duty.

And once more, she chose her path.
