Number Thirteen, almost done.

It is said, that there once has been a particular powerfull earth dragoness roaming the mountains what is now the northern borders of the Phylaxeiian League. She was living a quite life, far away from society and therefore was not kindly treated by the inhabitants of the surrounding villages, because the majority of the common folk always tends to be suspicious about hermits. But after a while fear took the place of the usual leeriness of the people after rumours were spread that this earth dragoness is a actually a witch practicing her dark arts in their very mountains. It did not take long until a wild hunt began and finally she got caught and given as a sacrifice to the ancestor god of fire. Yet, after the flames ceased not ashes were to be seen but dust of pure gold and on the next day the local miners found glimmering veins of this yellow metal in every mine shaft. Though, the people, who burned the witch would never celebrate this miraculous find, since they all already perished from a unknown pleague that turned their blood thick like resin.
It is not certain, if it was the doing of this mysterious earth dragoness, but ever since she gets praised by the locals as a holy being, a minor demigodess and some even say she might have been the ancestor godess of earth herself. They hope that by there prayers she may forgive them for their shortsightness. The gold underneath their paws was mined all the same and Chryse, the newly founded city in the name of the unknown "golden dragoness", as they call her today, became the one of the richest city states in the southern realms.
