"Damned! That was my way back! How am I supposed to get back upstairs now? Come on, Selmi, think! You've already gotten yourself out of more difficult situations! You’ll manage it somehow!”
She pouted a little, but she was very aware that this wouldn't help her at all.
She now decided to have a second look arround in this room.
Now that she looked a little closer, she noticed that the room was much larger than she had initially assumed.
The construction was just very intricate, almost labyrinth-like.
While she was looking arround, she didn’t noticed that the mud beneath her was slightly bulging in some areas…
„Hmm… maybe if I keep searching, I’ll find another way out! That certainly wasn't the only trap that leads into this room. Maybe another one is broken and I can climb out of it. Or there's a wall somewhere that's good for climbing. But first, I need to get through this muck! It feels like I’m slowly sinking!“
As Selmi was putting her hands on the mud surface to push herself out of the dirt, purple tentacles suddenly snaked out of the bulging mud and wrapped themselves around her wrists.
„Wait, wha-“
She tried to pull her hands away.
„UUAAAH!!! What is this?!? Get off me!!!“
