oh i see, you grow up with american classic sonic
myself i'm european, so i grow up with japanese & US Classic sonic. but i prefer japanese classic Sonic
now about american influences i think you're wrong, friend, for example, after SA1 at least, they have accepted the title for Sega Sonic as "the fastest thing alive" and also don't forget Sonic favorite food, chili dogs ^^ became official since Sonic Advance 3 and still going with it. What I said are the most noticeable ones, they are some others, really hidden, espacially in the most recent games haha, trolling so much SEGA XD
so maybe that's me, but i wouldn't consider american sonic concept, DEAD, his influence is slowly integrated into the games in fact.

je ne fais qu'une plausible théorie qui pourrait être un possible total failure de ma part, mais n'oublions pas que ce sont les 20 ans de sonic. donc je pense que tout est possible, avant je pouvais pas imaginer le retour de classic sonic, mais il y est là aujourd'hui. alors je pense que générations peut avoir des références assez spéciaux et surprenantes.
de plus, tu vas être surpris mais ce ne serait pas 1ère fois, tu vois, la série des adventures(surtout SA2) utilise des anciennes idées concept venant tout droit du developpement de Sonic 1 qui ont jadis étaient refusés par SEGA of américa à l'époque car jugés trop hardcore. elles sont utilisées de manière très différentes mais le concept reste le même. et n'oublions pas que SA2 = les 10 ans de sonic ^^ mais aujourd'hui la situation a changé surtout depuis Sonic adventure et j'ai toujours senti le désir de SEGA japan de mettre discrètement leurs anciens idées, OFFICIEL.
