Neither woman can believe that DSR – the most misanthropic person they’ve ever met – saved their lives.
The alien woman is sleeping on the couch in the medical bay where Tomoe is staying. Alison of course goes to visit Tomoe.
“How do you feel?”
“I’m okay physically, but mentally…not so much.”
“Why’s that?”
“What if that bastard Kurosawa was telling the truth about me?”
“He wasn’t.” Alison tells her, “He’s just an idiot with a god complex and ridiculous cyber suit. He’s nothing compared to you or your Vanquisher friends.”
“You’re right, Alison…thank you,” she turns to DSR, “Thank you, DSR-san.”
“Don’t thank me.”
“We’re going to. You saved us both from that prick AND you kicked his ass all over his laboratory.”
“Why DID you save us back there?” Alison asks.
“Because reasons. Now let me sleep.”
