Captain Epsilon

The Short: The sociable, black-winged leader of an elite team of specialists with members from many of Chima's tribes, Captain Epsilon's jovial and lighthearted disposition conceals a brilliant and experienced mind. A top-tier fighter, tactician, and pilot, he is a natural leader who accomplished everything with the motto "When you're met with failure, get back up and swing twice as hard". A strong believer in cultural understanding, the Captain prefers to find non-violent, or at least non-lethal, solutions to conflicts, though his foes are often more than happy to take advantage of his mercy.

The Long Story: Though his parents are both Eagles, Epsilon was born with black wings as well as black feathers peppered over parts of his body such as his forehead, as well as a surprisingly cunning and aware mind for an Eagle. While he is unaware if he is a hybrid(Such as if his mother had an affair), he has suppressed his curiosity in favor of taking the view that "One is judged by their accomplishments, rather than their origins". Initially a weak flier, Captain Epsilon developed his now famous motto by creating a determined work ethic to overcome his hardships, excelling at anything he tried through sheer hard work. This effort is what drew the attention of the special forces.

Working quickly to become an accomplished soldier, Captain Epsilon practiced to become a pilot by first becoming an excellent Speedor driver, purposefully performing extreme and unstable maneuvers to get used to the forces involved in piloting. This training made him one of the few capable of piloting the delicate controls of the forward-swept wing experimental vehicle his elite squad has created simply called the "VS", a vehicle that is not only uncommonly maneuverable, but can even gather chi energy that's lingering in the air in order to have unfathomable flight time.

A bit of an outcast due to his appearance, Epsilon developed his viewpoint on life by learning the ways of all of the others tribes, and as a result can effectively communicate with all of them, a view that few leaders take. He wields a hammer of Eagle craftsmanship, rather than an axe, since, as he puts it, it has purposes beyond destruction: It can drive nails, shatter rocks, and can be used for croquet. When charged with CHI, the blue disc in the middle causes the force of the hammer to be intensely magnified, giving it astounding striking force.

Epsilon's current mission is to find out what the rogue Crocodile General Cruz is up to in a remote part of Chima, a task made all the more difficult by the Ravens Cruz has hired to keep the area under constant aerial surveillance. Epsilon's cunning and the VS are the only thing keeping him and his squad from defeat.
