The Lion King III: Inheritance takes place shortly after the events in The Lion King II (after a brief prologue that takes place between the two films). It focuses on a forgotten plot thread from TLK I: the hyenas. From TLK II, we only know that they 'ran off' from the Elephant Graveyard; there is no explanation as to why. There is also no obvious reasons as to exactly why they were forced to live there in the first place, when other predators (we see cheetahs at the beginning of TLK I) are allowed to live in the Pridelands. That story will address some of those questions ... and hopefully make the readers (as well as the main characters!) think a little about what truly defines 'good' and 'evil.'

Also, as a side note: This is only MY version of what happened. It's a fancomic! I'm going to try to stick to as much canon as I can, and then branch off from there into my own ideas.

The new cover for Inheritance (I swear this is the last time I'm changing things). This sketchy style is much, much faster than doing the old style. Pages will probably take me 1-3 hours rather than 15+, which means I can get pages out much faster and actually get to telling this story.

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions over on my other account, I'm going to reply to those in a few minutes here. ;; And thanks to for the idea of doing paper texture backgrounds~ I decided to go without them, though, because it just got too confusing when I did the more complex pages.
