The song is in NO WAY, canon. At all. The song was a fan made song, it was in no way commissioned, or made by Scott Cawthon.
She didn't make any mistakes, I've listened to that call too, many many times, it's what it said. The Marionette is an "it". An animatronic. The fandom can represent whatever gender they want it to be, but in canon, it's an agender machine, haunted by the spirit of a male child.
The fandom makes the marionette a male, a female, a no gender, a multigendered, whatever they want it to be. It can be interpreted however they want, but if we're talking about canonical Marionette, it's an "it".
Stop using that as your only argument, the fandom is pretty stupid in a nutshell, only about 40% of the fandom actually has any real smarts to it, and they know what the canon says. Unlike you, who's arguing about what the fandom says, instead of the canonical facts.

People make it female for the same reason why they make Freddy female and Chica male, it's all personal preference. If that's your preference, that's fine, I don't care. But don't argue with me about what's canonical and what's not.

"It's Been So Long" is a fan made song based off a theory that there was a woman possessing the Puppet, and that she was the mother of the child possessing Golden Freddy. How that theory even came to be, I'm not sure.
