2 thoughts occur to me.

I must have been exhausting and/or expecting my period because i misspelled "praying" as "preying"...I don't think that was Feudian.

Also~ this is yung *BOY* and a young girl~ not two girls as I assumed.

Is this more about marriage essentially being a cord of 3 not easily broken.

I think perhaps you never paint a fully adult human being?...Is that literally true? If not, would you offer some examples?

If it is; what is so repugnant about adults to you?...&/or so appealing about portraying childhood & adolscence

Very thought provoking piece. I like the way the only colour in the painting runs down the center, the two girls seemingly become part of a black and white frame. Great composition.
