Right up there with your best buddy..all that work on the owl was certainly time very well spent. I remember that the first painting of yours I ever saw was The Angel of Comfort. First, my jaw dropped..and then when I gathered my wits, I yelled for my wife to come see that amazing painting. I think that if I'd never seen any of your work and I had come across this painting first, I'd have had the same reaction to this one..the concept is mind blowing, and the execution is incredible. After studying it for a while, I then spent about 45 minutes on sites related to UVS and trying to find out whatever happened to that guy...thanks for the adventure.

Well, at the time I was reading DeSade's Justine and listening to Ultra Vivid Scene and William Lawes. I suppose it's more a reaction to these than any direct inspiration...

hm..dont know the musicans...well, I love to find some impulse, inspiration in books, music... My great impulse was "Words Like Violence", performing by Tori Amos. Its such a thrilling version of DM song. Unfortunately, cant find anything, what could give me a "good kick" for making something good in photos...
