Fascinating level of detail, and stunning colours. The delicate fragility of the machinery (despite its enormous size, which is complemented very well by the two tiny humanoid shapes), sits very well in the natural landscape and looks intriguingly organic. A little detail which made me smile is the checkered ground beneath the water.

My sentiments exactly. Especially the surprise beneath the water. Y'all really must see the bigger image. Also, the painting looks like it could be a portal; an actual entry way into the painting itself. It's Brilliant!!! I love all of it!!!!
