Description
Ion was a mostly normal inkling for most of her life except for one thing in particular: She was born with kraken ink in her body. As a child, she was frequently subjected to experiments that tested her abilities. One day when she was much older, she managed to break out, only to run into the ever enigmatic Dr. Femt who took her in like another daughter, his own doing her own thing with Cephalon. He still tests her but he shows he actually cares for her well being despite his disposition.

Luckily, she's also treated like a younger sister by both Aria and Gestalt despite the clone being chronologically younger. The doctor even had an outfit commissioned that wouldn't break apart whenever she changed.

Ion is able to manually transform herself at will but it tends to happen on it's own when she's particularly angry or stressed. This transformation increases her physical strength and speed but knocks her intellect down a peg, not to mention she loses most of her speech capability. She'll usually change back once she calms down.
