I first thought the greenish post was a cactus, really funny to see its not actually.
Great single shot of something really boring and common. The contrasts between the different colors of the objects in combination with the sky make this piece interesting, And funny as i still think its a cactus in small format

Oh, that's marvelous. You have DEFINITELY achieved "jarring." I love how none of the colors matches harmoniously with any of the other colors. And everything is almost lined up, but -- not. And yet for all of that it somehow manages to have a nice, tightly composed feeling. I think it's because the sign is leaning into the post, and the wires create a line with the wall. It's so chaotic. Is this what you were going for with Lemmings?

This what I really like...I'm glad you caught that.
I don't know what "jarring" is where photography is concerned...but as long as it's a good thing, then I'm glad I achieved it.

For this, jarring is definitely good. Here is what I was actually referring to, from Lemmings:
Me: Disturbing and surreal and unsettling.
U: This is the mood I like to achieve...I just didn't think I had.
Me: cold stark blue/gray feel of it. I like it's jarring subtleties.
U: Perfect..

Gut can't tell time. There's no time limit and the definitions of "it" and "right" are fluid and ever-changing. There is no rush. Just follow your gut -- if you ever got it completely right, what would there be to strive for?
