CTC 8 challenge 2Footrace Fiasco
Climbing the cliff: as the race begins, bell pepper tells his team to make a mad dash for the top, however, he decided to stay behind to slow the other teams down. To start, bell pepper took a fairly large stone and threw it at drone’s blades, denting one and getting rid of her ability to fly. He then picked up drone and threw her at change jar, who had almost caught up to gravestone. After everyone on his team had made it to the top, bell pepper gave them new instructions.
Getting to the forest: once everyone had reached the junk pile, bell pepper instructed them to create a large parachute using some rope, a bunch of tarp, some tape, and some steel bars. They were able to glide close to the forest, but due to their combined weight, they came up short. Once they landed, they each sprinted to the forest.
Running through the forest: using the rope from the parachute, the team tied themselves together so they wouldn’t get lost. They used small stones and leafs to make sure they didn’t run in circles, and once they reached checkpoint two in the forest, the team untied themselves to grab a few wooden crates and planks of wood, carrying them to the lake.
Swimming through the lake: once they got to the lake, they each jumped into their respective crates and paddled their way to the next checkpoint, skipping the pile of junk and splashing both drone and lightstick with some water to short them out, meaning it would take longer for the others to get to the end.
Running through the field: for this leg of the footrace, the amazing arcade tokens did not stop for any breaks, making a mad dash for the final checkpoint before the finish. The other teams were still having a hard time due to lightstick and drone shorting out from the water.
The beach: once they made it to the final leg of the race, the arcade tokens ran to the finish as bell pepper laid a few traps in the sand. Using a broken frying pan, bell pepper was able to dig a small hole close to the junk pile, putting lightly packed sand on top to cover the ditch. After that, he bent a plank of wood using a bit of the junk, to which if someone tried to move it, they’d be met with a plank to the face. Once that was finished, bell pepper made a mad dash for the finish, crossing the finish line before the others and winning the challenge.
