The map of my world of Alos. This is a world of fantasy, magic, and TTRPG stories yet to be told. I'll be updating this image as I work on the sections individually, the land-shapes are unlikely to change, but I'll be adding more detail to the world as and when I get to it.

The main settings of focus and worldbuilding currently are Endara, Ureon, and, more recently, Amaarn. These are the lands that are almost entirely taken up by humans and their seeking of power. Hishan is the largest continent, and the southern portion is included in Arnaira when discussing cultural continents, the Eastern portion over the mountains is sometimes also included in the Endara Continent for cultural similarities (even though this land area is sparsely populated.

Brief information about each continent

Endara (Land of Elves)

The continent in the northern hemisphere where the Elves first came into being and began to develop language, culture, and records of the ancient world. This is where modern civilisation began.

Ureon (Flowers Peninsula)

Not a proper continent, but part of the Endaran continent. Originally it was a southern peninsula of Endara, but following The Ravage, it became an island and is more commonly known as Ureon Isles. This is the pert of the world where Gnomes first came into being.

Amaarn (Beautiful Land of Gold)

The continent in the southern hemisphere with a vast desert and tropical lands full of unique flora and fauna. It is a land where Elves discovered gold. Civilisation developed here following human migration here from Endara and Lamnalvia.

Hishan (Free Land the Sun)

The huge continent to the West of Endara, where the Elves would see the sun appearing over the dominating mountains. Originally Elves believed the mountains here were the edge of the world. It is the largest continent, spans both the Northern and Southern Hemisphere, and is the land where Humans, Dwarves, and Tabaxi first came into being. During some winters the channel between Hishan and Sivon freezes over.

Lamnalvia (Eastern Distant Land of Fortune) pronounced Lamnarvia

A small continent in the Northern Hemisphere, to the East of Endara. Halflings originated here, likely evolving from humans who entered this land from Hishan. The lands here contain a forest full of dangerous creatures. Only the most southern and most western areas have been dominated by civilisation.

Arnaira (Southern Land of Islands) pronounced Arnaila

A collection of islands south of Hishan in the Southern Hemisphere, these lands contain many reptilian creatures and humanoids. Dragonborn, Lizardfolk, and Tortles originated here.

Siali (Northern Land of Shadow)

A continent in the far north of Alos, East of Endara and North of Lamnalvia, it is quite isolated and very cold. During winter it is connected to Sivon.

Arvon (Southern Land of Ice)

The landmass in the far south of Alos, people rarely survive there.
