Sexy, I think I saw you working on this, or female looking armor at least. It's kinda disappointing that in actuality Spartan armor looks the same on men and women.
I posted my Firebat piece, sadly turning it to a jpeg fucked with the color (it looks more pale and the red I used for the blood looks like ass), I'm gonna see if I can fix it. What really sucks is I already sent that version to Blizzard's fanart section...

thing is, the armor is the same as from Halo 1, the only real changes I made were to widen the side notches on the breastplate to accommodate her boobs and to tighten the rest of the armor up just a little bit. and loosen the belt, but that's not really a change.

when have you actually seen an official female Spartan? are you talking about the one in the Marvel HALO comic? maybe she just has small boobs, i mean, unless they REMOVE them, there has to be some accommodation for body differences.

because even super soldier won't perform at their best when they're uncomfortable, which having cramped breasts would be.

Well the first official female Spartan was revealed in Dead or Alive 4 [link]
It's hard to tell she's female at all, it's a little disappointing, but considering I don't even find athletic bodies attractive, maybe it's best we her Super human shape is less defined. : )
Just did a little Wiki research, supposedly she's Spartan 458, named Nicole.

i forgot about her (and i have the bloody game! haven't unlocked her though). whats wrong with athletic? are you saying you prefer skinny-ass, anorexic girls? or flappy armed fat girls (please nobody take offense, it is not intended, all shapes for all preferences, this is supposed to be sorta amusing)? what's wrong with a little healthy muscle tone? now if you're thinking that female Spartans look like female bodybuilders, i'm with you there, thems is scawwey! But personally, i dont think any of them are built like Arnold Schwartzenegger, male or female. they wouldn't fit in their armor, for one thing, or at least move in it. personally, i think they're all healthily toned, not overdone, if of slightly larger proportions. except of course the ones that came out of the bone-hardening stage fucked up.

When ready the first book, during the augmentation fase in the spartan training, by one of the augmentations is written that it will decrease sexual behavore, maybe that includes sexual changes during there teen years. so maybe the all have small breasts.

Ha, I do like slim builds, and toned is nice, but some athletes, Daniel Tosh even points out, "not attractive".
That's true though, they would be built just right, so they can move fine in their armor.

that's the thing, athletic means healthy muscle tone (when i hear/read it, that's what it seems to imply to me), not freakishly muscled and you made it sound like it was a bad thing. my whole point.

and of course, we now have a trailer for Reach showing a female spartan. i think her armor is slightly more pushed out up top, and of course she has wider hips/narrower waist, and i think they raised the sides of her pelvic armor a bit. oh, and she's short an arm. well, she has one, but it's not the original. which kinda doesn't make sense-not the replacement itself, but the having it exposed, un-sleeved, if you will, open to the elements. especially one as bare-bones as that...
