I dunno it bugs me when artists draw characters with features they don't officially have. Same goes for NiGHTS with horns.

They had toes in the comics and cartoon shows prior to the Sonic Adventure redesign. Honestly, it's more weird for them to have blob feet with no toes when they have perfectly-formed fingers.

I know, same with Big... for YEARS I assumed Big was wearing fishing boots until later renders made it clear they were sandals... the toeless look confused me and quite frankly just looks odd to me. If they have fingers, why shouldn't they have toes? It's just an aesthetic that bugged me since I was a kid.
