So, I quess I owned you this one! ÓwÒ
Really a lot of people have asked me for an avatar base.
(But seriously, some of you guys should learn to do things like this more formally.)
And therefore I decided to spend this rainy Monday working at one!
Well, you can use this for OCs and any characters you want.
Of course I won't disabandon the requests I took this far, though.
And please note that I'm kind of endangering my own reputation here.
(lol, as if I hadn't lost it already, anyway... °A° )
If you don't know what I mean by that, imagine the Coca Cola Company releasing a "How to make your own Coke"-book.
(Haha, ...acting megalomaniac is kind of fun.)
I must admit I did quite enjoy making this Tut. I hope it helps some of you. ^^
I think I kind of overdid it once again, though. Hope it isn't too complicated.

when you use it, make each frame a different layer, and when you save it, instead of .xfc replace it with .gif and simply set it baed on the options hey give you

Ah, sorry, since I have ImageReady I never used it myself. But maybe you can tell me about the other one. I could mention it in the journal. ^o^
Btw, if you have problems using it as a icon, it may be too big. It needs to have a size of 50x50p. You have to resize it before you can use it.
I hope you understand what I mean. I started off knowing nothing about these things as well... TwT

hi, I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but, can I use it to make an avatar for others to use?
Like, I use your base but I create an avatar for anyone besides me. I read that it's free to use for everyone, but that's because it's for their personal use. Isn't it kinda like redistributing it? although it's edited anyway. I just wanted to make sure I don't get into any trouble with copyright infringement ^^

I think it's really nice that you ask beforehand! I don't make any money out of these guys, so I don't see any problems depending the copyright. In other words: Use them any way you want!
I've had other people send me icons they made (for themselves and other ppl) and I'm always happy to have others carry on this icon production. You guys are a thousand times faster than me... =w=

You can draw the single pictures in Paint but you can't animate them there. But looking at your icon, I quess you know how to do that anyway.

In the artist's comment you can find a link to the accompanying tutorial. You can find the individual frames there. Just copy the tut, paste on paint and cut out the frames! ^^

Ah, do you mean you have the finished avatar but don't know how to make it your DA icon?
Go to your profile page, scroll your mouse pointer over the icon on the top left and you'll see a little pencil. CLick it and you can choose the picture you want to use as icon! ^^
