Description
So I've been struggling for quite sometime with portraying objects in 3-d on a 2-d space. No matter how much I practiced, the pictures never really jumped out at me because I couldn't figure out how to make them pop out of the page. So to learn how to do that I decided to head back to the basics. To that end, we have Basic Shape Man, a figure comprised entirely of rectangles, cylinders, and spheres. Not a pretty sight to look at, and quite disproportional, but it does have the shape at least. I'm figuring I'll try drawing this dude in various poses as best I can and see how it goes. Here's to hoping this little experiment works!
