NOTE the eyes are not blue. They are a very light shade of yellow they look silver; which wolves can have this type of hue in their eyes. It is still a shade of orange or yellow but it's so dull that it almost looks silver. The blue you see is just a reflection of a blue sky that is from the original art used for this stamp.

Wolves are awesome no matter what but I'm not against wolf hunting people need the wolf fur to survive long and harsh winters the wolves provide recorces to us humans ( well I can't technically say we are humans we are scientiffically referred as safisticated Animals that learned to cope with the society ) but I love wolves dearly and it pains me to see them get killed there so majestic but I can't do anything about it we need them for survival. But I do not support wolf poaching-.-

The need to survive on "wolf fur" is few and far between these days. Mostly the nomad people who would require heavy winter coats live in antarctic or subfreezing temperatures where wolves usually don't roam. They tend to use the much larger game animals for fur as well. So back in the day I could see the need, but aimless killing with no intention of using the animal for anything else but a trophy upsets me. Especially in the area's where they are needed most to restore an ecosystem's balance. 
But yes, I love wolves and poaching sucks!
