hi, you need to click on the animation first - then you can use the arrow keys to control it.
if you don't click on it first then it will ignore the keys.

the sparkle effect is pretty sweet! The character design is not my taste, but it is well executed. Good work.

it has a magnificent form about it, like watching an elegant dancer . well done well done. just wondering do you do exclusively anthomorphic pieces or have you dabbled with other forms?

I can see you're not really one for writing descriptions... Did you create this dragoness yourself, and if so, did you make her from scratch? Is she rigged? How long did it take?
But regardless, this is amazing. Her anatomy looks like it was sculpted in the image of a perfect hourglass figure and all the details of her scales show how much effort went into it. I'm glad to see there's going to be a regular or even a skinned version of this. That would look even more amazing (even if sparkles are hard to beat!)

hi thanks.
yes i made her myself - almost from scratch. ( it started as a model of freya form final fantasy 9 )
i took about one weekend. ( i used my lemur model as basemesh and parts of other models for the hands and feet - so the initial part of the modeling was very fast)
the model was made in zbruch. it is not rigged. i use the transpose tool to set up the poses.

That's very impressive, especially in that amount of time. Do you think rigging characters makes the job of posing easier? Of course I'm guessing animation is virtually impossible without it.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
KP-ShadowSquirrel In reply to RestrainedRaptor [2011-05-27 20:07:03 +0000 UTC]
rigging takes quite some time ( and even a rigged and posed model may need tweaking in some places which deformed in unexpected ways)
so if you want to make just a few poses it is probably faster to do it in zbrush

I love everything of her, I think the detail for her muscles are incredible, her pose as well astounding.
I just saw that her feet do not seem like stepping on a ground, nor seeming like she was walking.
Still, incredible detail and lightning effects. Is this a certain kind of material?
The detail on his fingers and toes is really really impressive. I think I'll be following you from now.

it is not a simgle material but a combination of different passes which were composited in aftereffects.
here is an image of the passes [link]

I'm rather curious as to how you get tails to work. I've always had trouble getting the hips and tail to correctly form when sculpting...
