Description It's my first time drawing a tiger!!!

I started with basic shapes including straight lines, curved lines for the gesture, circles, ovals, and loose lines for the stripes.

Determining the correct angle of the jump in comparison to a straight vertical line and then going in with the gesture curve was the first step.

Placing the easily determined oval for the belly and then intercepting circles in between the head and belly, for the head and hip comes next.

Drawing a cone for the snout at the correct angle and placing the ears is the third step.

The arms are next.

Next is taking a look at the angle of upper hip to the hind foot and making changes.

Placing the tail.

Going over with the detail shape comes next. Here, take care of the hump-like bend.

Next go in with the stripes and while doing this try holding the pencil loosely and from a farther distance.

These are the notes for my sake and for anyone who is interested. Since, it was my first time drawing a tiger with somewhat right proportions it is important for me to jot it down and build confidence step -by-step.

Many DA members draw canines really well and the have inspired me to give it a try. Thank you for inspiring me.
