Description
The MIRT - Medium-Intensity Recon Tank - is the operational replacement for the Carnaithian Eluch-series of light combat vehicles. Armed with a 60mm combustion light-gas gun, its armament is capable of firing projectiles in excess of six kilometers a second, minimizing hostile reaction opportunities to near-zero. However, its primary role is reconnaissance, and to this end it has an elevating observation mast equipped with both optical and radar observation units, as well as the standard turret-mounted ground-penetrating radar and awareness cameras. As a secondary armament, it is armed with two 10mm machine guns.
