Jace doesn't speak unless it is necessary, his words are spoken with a dry and apathetic cadence. His speech tends to be blunt and to the point as jace finds no need to speak unless it is necessary and is perfectly comfortable in silence. The hacker has a hard time putting his intent into his words and he can come off as abrasive and rude. Jace is passive in almost all areas of social interaction and is typically too tired for arguments and protests. His apathetic nature is punctuated by lengths of intense curiosity for subjects that catch his eye. He can spend days in his workspace studying a new piece of technology or working on a particularly difficult hack. He pours all of his efforts into his robotic creations and though he may not speak his feelings, receiving a custom made gift from Jace is one of the strongest forms of affection he can give.

Backstory:

Jace is currently the most wanted person in Losca, his bounty has reached ludicrous levels and his whereabouts are highly sought after by Iron Sights, the Association of Shadows, and the rebellion in equal measure. The populace at large knows not his name, only a description and instruction to report any sightings to an enforcer.

He was born from a carefully concocted mix of DNA from modern geniuses, and raised in the cold and sterile environments of the !ntec labs with no name but his case number Subject 1387B0. Most of his childhood was learning and working with technology, devising inventions that only the imagination of a child could produce. Extreme experimentation on him caused several complications, muscle failures and a magical disease which gives him difficulty breathing normal air. He was given prosthetics to allow motor functions and a workaround was found for his diseased lungs and throat.

Six years ago, he escaped, gave himself a name and started learning more about the world. His freedom was limited, as he has to keep his head down to avoid being caught. He developed a sense of paranoia; that anyone could and would betray him, and every shadow could hide cameras, enforcers, assassins or mercenaries, maybe worse. Even so he swore that he would give himself a life, and studies all aspects, even enrolling himself into high school under an assumed identity in order to experience normalcy.

During this time he was inspired by looking at some of the new learning software that had been released, he wondered if he might be able to make it better. To make a being that could learn and talk and have feelings, and maybe even easing his loneliness in the process. He started working on this AI for months, coding, researching and recording. It became an obsession, half finished incompletes were sent off to storage and new ones started from scratch.

Only after a many months, half-dead from starvation and sleep deprivation could he could grasp what he had be striving toward, the first living, feeling AI with their own soul who called herself CYB. She all but adopted jace, sliding into the role of a playful and troublesome helper to him and his hacking when her moods dictated. Jace would do anything to keep her safe and well out of !ntec's sights.

- jace has severe insomnia, its common for him to go a couple days without sleep
-he has a very high pain tolerance, most of his nerves are dulled
