The other day, I ran out of material to teach and my campers were bored stiff. So I found this cat picture and told them they had to make an image in photoshop following these criteria:
Use more than 2 layers
use the dodge/burn tool
use the clipping mask
and, obviously, use the cat in some way

This was my result. After they all finished, I had them blow it up full screen and the class walked around and then voted on who's drawing the liked the most. (they couldn't vote for me ) The camper who won's picture was the cat leaning out of a sports car haha.

Usually I don't do these kinds of photo editing things. So it was a fun and mildly challenging exercise for me as well!
