Its lovely if it's a page in a book, a distraction from the main story just for a little bit of fun on the side. The fact you started so poe-faced and depressed suprised and slightly delighted me, for it showed that you could make fun out of depression and a somewhat emo/emotional filled moment. I'm not so sure about the scrowly-skulls...it makes me think a little of lenore and hot topic comics (I apologize if this is offensive)..I would of preferred that blank vortex of space around the first panel, it would of sort of expressed the feeling of his emptiness?
I loved the middle panel, with it's curled fronds. It gives it depth and shows more of the emotion you are trying to convey.
I like this piece more than others you have done, because of it's almost faux-seriousness.

That toaster looks rather happy. Especially since it's about to drown in a bathtub with an emo kid, while the emo kid is getting electrocuted. I'd imagine that wouldn't be a fun thing to see.

Toasters use the most wattage out of appliances of that size. It also has open circuitry in the heating elements, and doesn't have much water-proofing because they aren't normally around water.
