I live in an AIDS infested country. Like, every ten people one of em's gonna be HIV positive. Somebody hurry up and make a cure, the ppl I grew up with are gonna die.
No, really, I'm serious. If someone isn't infected already, they have like a 80% chance of getting it off someone else.
Specially since here most ppl can't spare the money for protection. How sad is that?

I live in Papua New Guinea, a country with one of the highest HIV rates. You know, little island collection above Australia?
I wasn't actually born there, my parents came from Australia to work there, and I went there at about 6 weeks old, so I pretty much grew up there. But don't be sorry, it's okay, once ppl start LISTENING and being gutsy enough to actually teach others about HIV, then we'll sort ourselves out. But it's still sad thinking that some of my poorer friends are actually at a pretty high risk.

Yeah I see, that kind of blindess really pisses me off, I mean there are so many problems where I live that it would take a really selfish dumb bitch not to care about it, yet there are so many girls at my boarding school in Australia that go on and on about their own little (omg my mum is being soo mean to me I hate her she wouldn't give me $100 for shopping so I can't buy that cute Chanel jacket whinge whinge whinge) problems that aren't even problems, and it really pisses me off. What if their friends were at risk of contracting AIDS? What if they knew some of their close friends might die from it? And well if their mum taught some of those kids and was trying to teach them english so that they'd go on to get good jobs and live better, then they would understand why they couldn't have $100 to get some stupid little Chanel jacket with a label on it. But no, they'd rather the jacket to show off to their preppy little friends rather than respect their mother's decisions which were for their own good. I know a girl like that who doesn't care about anybody or anything, we were talking about global warming in class and she was like "well I don't care if the north pole melts, I'm not going to stop using my phone just for some stupid bit of ice" and she HATES animals. Talking bout endangered species - "I don't care cuz I hate animals anyway, who'd want to save a stupid dumb animal blah blah blah" She is SUCH a bitch. She only cares about herself. It really pisses me off that girls like that should be allowed to be popular and rich and pretty, yet she is, and I hate that. But I care and I am really unpopular and most girls prefer to stick to the popular girl's opinion so they don't slide down the popularity ladder.
I so want to go to one of their concerts, it sounds so awesome, but I don't know if my parents would let me =/ Ahh well they have their reasons.
I heard about the Project Revolution tour, I wanted to go to that one because that was meant to raise money for a good cause
