Yea, but it's not 'cool' to sound intelligent. Or to actually give the extra five brain cells worth of effort required to type properly.
Though I talk like that sometimes too, just cuz it doesn't seem right if I'm already acting silly and I'm using proper grammar at the same time. I guess when I think about it, it'd probably sound pretty effin stupid if I weren't already so used to it.
It's not as bad as it used to be, though. When it was just so horrible to hit extra keys, tht ppl tlkd lik dis. Or of course there's the |-|412|::0123 13375P34|< if you'd prefer. (Though that last one is actually useful when there's a parent in the room who can't read 1337.)

But it's not one single, set 'code' it's mostly just a matter of what letter it looks like. There are tons of ways to write some letters. I.E.= W could be \/\/, VV, |_|_|, |_/\_|, etc. It's alot easier to write then to read... it still takes me a few seconds to read it.
